Established in 1991, with over 30 years in the wood processing industry, Duc Thanh is proud to become one of the leading manufacturers in Vietnam specializing in producing kitchenware, houseware, furniture, children’s wooden toys and other customized products - being sold in nearly 3,000 local stores, agents, supermarkets in Vietnam and has exported to more than 50 countries over the world.

With the consciousness of environmental protection and sustainable development, from the very first day of our establishment, Duc Thanh only use legality timber from plantation.

Duc Thanh has maintained a quality management system according to ISO 9001:2015 and has obtained many international prestigious certifications such as BSCI, CTPAT, FSC, safety certification according to European standards (CE) ... to meet the requirements of many demanding markets such as Japan, USA, UK, Germany...

Our History

Established as Tam Hiep wood processing workshop

On May 19, 1991, Tam Hiep wood production facility (the predecessor of Duc Thanh Wood Company) was born with an initial capital of 105 million VND and 60 workers founded by Mr. Le Ba. However, the facility only produces on a small scale, seesaw, and exports raw wood.

Launched Duc Thanh wood processing LTD

In 1995, we began to receive orders for processing finished products for export.

Became Joint Stock Company

In 2000, Duc Thanh expanded its scale and transformed into Duc Thanh Wood Processing Joint Stock Company with a charter capital of VND 5.05 billion and 20 founding shareholders, with Mr. Le Ba as Chairman of the Board of Directors. Ms. Le Hai Lieu (the daughter of Mr. Le Ba) is the Director.

Opened 2nd Factory in Go Vap, HCMC

In 2003, the company inaugurated the second factory built at 21/6D Phan Huy Ich, Ward 14, Go Vap, HCMC.
The same year, the company closed its sawmill in Dak Lak because it had built up a network of wood suppliers to supply raw materials for production promptly.

Opened 3rd factory in Tan Uyen, Binh Duong

In 2005, the foreign investment fund Mekong Capital invested in phase 1 of 1.35 million USD in DTWood, creating a solid push and opening a new chapter with many optimistic signals. In the same year, the 3rd factory in Tan Uyen, Binh Duong province, was inaugurated with a total area of more than 30,000m2 and an investment cost of approximately 2 million USD.

In 2007, with its existing reputation, DTWood was invested 2 million USD in DTWood by PENM Fund, managed by Bankinvest - Denmark Investment Group.

Elite Fund invested & became DT’s biggest shareholder

In 2013, Elite Fund (Finland) officially invested in DTWood, held 1,035,000 shares and became a significant shareholder of DTWood.

Top VN's 50 Best Performing Companies

In 2016, the company celebrated its 25th anniversary and issued ESOP shares to employees.
- Revenue in 2016 increased by 29%, and profit after tax increased by 108% compared to 5 consecutive years (2011 - 2015)
- Increased charter capital two times:
From 129.65 billion VND to 142.61 billion VND (10% dividend in shares).
From VND 142.61 billion to VND 149.09 billion (issuing 5% of ESOP shares to employees).

30th Anniversary

In 2021, DTWood celebrated the 30th anniversary of its establishment, recording different marks. At the same time, the 4th factory in Binh Duong came into operation, timely responding to the company's growth momentum and bringing higher benefits to employees and shareholders.

Opened 5th factory in Vinh Cuu, Dong Nai

In 2022, DTWood ran out of the 5th factory ongoing, specializing in manufacturing interior and exterior products that reached the higher demand of domestic and overseas customers.
